WHO IS PEDALL FOR?

Short answer: everyone!

Regardless of your physical or intellectual ability, age or confidence level, PEDALL will help you enjoy and explore the natural beauty of the New Forest by cycle.

Our guided sessions are for people who face a barrier to cycling or accessing the National Park and would benefit from their mental and physical rewards. We can cater for a wide range of abilities, including people with physical or intellectual disabilities, social or mental wellbeing needs, a visible or unseen condition, or those living with a health diagnosis.

WHO IS PEDALL FOR?

We’re focussed on health and wellbeing

Being outside in nature has so many benefits and exercise is important for both our physical and mental wellbeing.

We want to help you explore the New Forest in a way that is comfortable for you, whether that’s accommodating a physical or intellectual need, or supporting your mental wellbeing. Our sessions are fun and friendly, and we will help match you to an appropriate cycle on your free introduction session. With no pressure from us, but support on-hand should you need it, you will be able to try a selection of our specialist cycles.

As an inclusive activity we encourage family members, friends and carers to join in and share the experience of cycling in the New Forest National Park.

We develop people’s confidence

Our sessions aren’t just for those with a disability, we’re also helping people improve their confidence on a bike or build social confidence. We have 2-wheeled bikes as well as specialist cycles to help you get out exploring in the best way for you. Your ticket also includes a carer or parent (if required) to help you feel at ease during your session.

We encourage riders to book six sessions at a time to save money, but also to help continue their progress and development. We also encourage families to come and ride together, either on our bikes or you can bring your own.
