PEDALL COMMUNITY HUB, ASHURST

Community Hub

We have bought PEDALL to a new Community hub in Ashurst. Based in the old chapel at the hospital site we are running Guided Rides as well as the following:
Social rides for those who are not confident enough to ride on their own or in a group of Strava-driven cyclists. We provide support on gentle rides with like-minded people and may involve cake stops!!!
Bike safety checks and maintenance advice. Helping you cycle safely.
Group maintenance sessions. These are aimed at our users with additional needs as we aim to provide the opportunity for everyone to learn basic maintenance skills.

We can help develop your confidence when riding

Our sessions aren’t just for those with a disability, we’re also helping people improve their confidence on a bike, improve wellbeing, make friends and connect with nature.

We want to help you explore the New Forest in a way that is comfortable for you, whether that’s accommodating a physical need, or supporting your mental wellbeing. Our sessions are fun, friendly and relaxed.

Riding with PEDALL means you do not need to worry about getting lost or about getting a puncture as we are there to guide and support you, allowing you to focus on enjoying being in the New Forest and making new friends.

Bike safety checks and maintenance advice

Every Wednesday we are opening our doors between 10.30am and 2.30pm for free bike safety checks and maintenance advice to help you keep your bike safe and running. We can even offer basic training for you to learn to do these checks yourself.

For a small donation, we may be able to fix or replace parts if needed.
